Are you an expat and looking for management coaching because you want to improve your management skills? Or are you a foreign entrepreneur with a growing business in The Netherlands and do you therefore need to develop leadership qualities?
Or maybe, as an expat, you need some time and support to get used to Dutch working culture.
Whatever is the case, if you want to become stronger in People Management, you’ve come to the right place.

I am a psychologist and coach for managers and professionals and I can help you:
- increase your understanding of people (and yourself)
- and translate those insights into effective behaviour
Because understanding yourself and others better, allowing you to interact more effectively with people, is the best foundation for success.
Management coaching expats Netherlands
I coach expats on the following themes:
- management skills
- coaching skills
- self-management/self-organization
- performance enhancement
- professional competencies and skills
- stress and burn out prevention
Because I believe that being a leader, your only instrument is yourself, management coaching is not only about your team, your co-workers and the organization. It centers around your skills and you as a person. Your personal leadership. Because who you are is how you lead.
Which leadership styles suit you? What moves you? What effect do you have on your environment, and vice versa? How do you view yourself and other people? What are your goals and how can you achieve them?
It goes without saying that you want your co-workers to thrive and to develop their strengths. That’s being a real people manager – which requires you to connect with people. And to make sure that you are someone they can connect with.
All change starts with self-knowledge. Based on this foundation, we can work on your personal development and professional growth, combining insight with action.
I approached Belia to coach me in finding, and preparing to make my next career move as a director in the digital transformation space. Her blended approach gave us a constant dialogue, which was invaluable to the dynamic work-life I lead. The techniques we practiced are practical and tailored to my needs and personality. Belia’s coaching has given me the outlook and tools I need to take proactive control of my career for the first time, and plan my bold moves for the next 3-5 years.”

Your personal leadership plan
The management coaching trajectory is concluded with writing your personal leadership plan. In it we also record what your to-do’s and not-to-do’s are:
- behavior that contributes to highlights and successes
- your vulnerable sides and pitfalls
- how to make adjustments to avoid those pitfalls
- constructive behavior for difficult moments
- what your strengths and weaknesses are
- the direction of your future development
This document is a powerful tool, because it allows you to continue your development independently and it helps to keep you focused.
